Wyndham Hotel Group announced the appointment of Anne Cole as vice president, content strategy and operations. An accomplished travel distribution executive with more than 26 years of experience at companies including Hilton Worldwide and Sabre Travel Network, Cole will oversee the development and execution of Wyndham’s comprehensive content strategy. This includes where and how hotel property content is stored and published and ensuring that relevant, accurate and complete content is present in all channels at all times.

“Anne is an experienced and knowledgeable executive with an impressive background in Web site and third party content deployment, publishing strategy, content operations management and channel optimization,” said Linda Kent, Wyndham’s senior vice president of electronic distribution. “She is a valuable addition to our growing team and is testament to the company’s commitment to providing robust content aimed at increasing central reservation contributions and overall gross room revenue.”

Prior to joining Wyndham Hotel Group, Cole served Hilton for 13 years in a variety of content and distribution development roles, including vice president of distribution and content delivery; vice president, distribution systems development; and director, marketing automation. Most recently she served as a travel distribution consultant, engaging with major travel and technology corporations to provide guidance on product enhancement reviews, product positioning, business process optimization, channel optimization and strategic direction.

In addition to her corporate experience, Cole served six years on the board of directors for the Open Travel Alliance, a not-for-profit trade association focused on the creation of electronic message structures to facilitate communication between the disparate systems in the global travel industry.
